Description
As a Facility Operations Assistant Department Head, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall direction, coordination, and management of the operations team. You will be responsible for organizing team members to complete projects and ensure the club facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. Your managerial and supervisory skills will help assist the operations department head with various administrative duties including scheduling, and ordering supplies.

Often your ability to multi-task and handle emergency situations is essential. In addition, due to the advanced technology in our clubs the ability to operate simple machinery and tools will help you with your day to day tasks.

Responsibilities:

Start your day walking through the club to ensure the building and its surroundings are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. Greet members and team members as you move about.

Next, assist the department head by ensuring all operations team members are performing daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Allow your enthusiasm to shine while managing team members as you continually maintain communication and performance throughout the day.

Then, monitor and work with the staff by helping at towel desk, keeping locker rooms at artistry level, and assisting the department head with various duties.

Round out your day by ensuring that all assigned tasks have been completed and ready for the next shift.

Qualifications:

·High School Diploma or GED, College degree in Business, Hospitality or related field preferred

·One year customer service experience

·Building operations experience preferred

·Health and fitness operations experience preferred

·Aquatic facilities operator certification (AF0), Certified Pool Operator License (CPO within 6 months of hire date)

·CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days of hire
