As a Facility Operations Department Head, you will be responsible for providing overall direction, coordination, and management of the operations team. The daily challenges involved in keeping this state of the art fitness center in tip top shape will definitely keep you on your toes. At Life Time Fitness we offer our Facility Operations Department Heads the access to cutting edge technology, state of the art systems, and the newest in "green" cleaning methods. Use your computer skills and conflict resolution abilities to set yourself apart from the rest. Due to the advanced technology in our clubs, the ability to operate simple machinery and tools will help you with your day to day tasks.

Responsibilities
Start your day by facilitating a daily business review and walking through the club to ensure the building and its surroundings are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. Greet members and team members as you move about.
Next, utilize your time management and organizational skills by creating daily task lists for your staff to complete in a timely and efficient manner. Learn your business by auditing your payroll, reviewing supply spending, monitoring work orders, and completing customer service requests. Allow your enthusiasm to shine while managing team members as you continually maintain communication and performance throughout the day.
After lunch, prepare the club for prime time by ensuring the club is neat orderly and well stocked for the members. Then, monitor and work with the staff by helping wash, dry, and fold towels.
Round out your day by communicating with the next manager on duty ensuring that all assigned tasks have been completed and ready for the next shift.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED, College degree in Business, Hospitality or related field preferred * Two years of management experience managing teams of more than 10 people * Building operations experience * Health and fitness operations experience preferred * Aquatic facilities operator certification (AF0), Certified Pool Operator License (CPO within 6 months of hire date) * CPR/AED
