Facility Technician Job

Description
As a Facility Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fitness equipment. You will also ensure safety within the club by promptly repairing non-functional equipment and conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment as well as coordinate and communicate general repairs and facility maintenance with club management.
Responsibilities
* Ensure equipment on the fitness floor is working properly
* Ensure there are no unsafe conditions on the fitness floor resulting from broken equipment
* Repair non-functional equipment in a timely manner
* Maintain the building, pools, electrical work, heating and cooling components and grounds
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is working properly
* Repair basic plumbing, electrical systems and hardware
* Answer all member questions courteously and accurately
Qualifications:
* Trade or Technical School degree * Three to four years facility maintenance experience or equivalent training * Aquatics Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) * CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire * Ability to multi-task and learn quickly * Awareness of potential injuries and ability to handle emergencies * Ability to operate basic machinery and tools * Extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
