Position Summary

Provide a fun and safe environment for children to participate in summer camp programs. Help camp participants learn through a range of camps and activities that appeal to their age.

Some examples of the job are:

* Responsible for up to ten campers at any given time * Ensures that children are active, interested and safe throughout the camp. * Facilitate and participate in quality programs and activities in a fun and safe environment. * Lead children ages 3-12 years of age through camp with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude * Acts as a role model to all children attending camp * Interacts with children, parents/guardians and co-workers in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Education: None required High School diploma or ED preferred

Experience One-year teaching experience or working with children preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registration: None required

1. Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
2. Excellent customer service skills
3. Ability to handle and resolve customer conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
4. Ability to build relationships with members
5. Comfortable working with all age groups
6. Ability to be fun, creative, energetic and enthusiastic
