Description

Position Summary

Provide a fun and safe environment for children to participate in summer camp programs. Help camp participants learn through a range of camps and activities that appeal to their age.

Some examples of the job are:

- Responsible for up to ten campers at any given time - Ensures that children are active, interested and safe throughout the camp. - Facilitate and participate in quality programs and activities in a fun and safe environment. - Lead children ages 3-12 years of age through camp with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude - Acts as a role model to all children attending camp - Interacts with children, parents/guardians and co-workers in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Education: None required High School diploma or ED preferred

Experience One-year teaching experience or working with children preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registration: None required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics


1. Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
2. Excellent customer service skills
3. Ability to handle and resolve customer conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
4. Ability to build relationships with members
5. Comfortable working with all age groups
6. Ability to be fun, creative, energetic and enthusiastic

This position is required to regularly:
